Since Before Health Food was Cool
In 1970, there was no such thing as “health food.” Most folks around Fort Worth had never heard buzzwords like gluten or macrobiotic or low-carb. But Harlan and Betty Bradford decided that Fort Worthians needed a place to find the vitamins and natural foods that could help them lead healthier, longer lives. And Sunflower Shoppe was born. Today their son Rick, his wife LaVonne and their five children have grown and evolved Sunflower Shoppe, into a nationally-recognized family proprietorship and benchmark in the competitive natural foods business.

In every aisle of our stores, we only offer the best. And because we’re an independent family business, we’re not beholden to some corporation or board of directors. We’re responsible only to our customers.

But we are proudest of our people.
